Chinmayi Mahesh is a junior in the School of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Critical Intelligence. Her fields of interest are diverse, and her passions range from debating political issues to coaching figure skating. Being a first-generation immigrant, Chinmayi has volunteered with and participates in events associated with cultural organizations such as World Malayalee Council America Region, Kerala Association of New Jersey, etc.
Her interests in environmental issues and public speaking are demonstrated through her involvement with projects such as “Sea2Sky” and Toastmasters International. Post completion of her undergraduate degree, she plans to attend law school or pursue a PhD. Chinmayi is an intermediate and competitive skater with Rutgers Figure Skating Club, and in her free time enjoys reading and listening to music.
